Daniel James Lee Here's a short biography on Dan. You may actually learn a few things about him that you never knew before...

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 9, 1980. Dan is the only son of Dr. Daniel Y. Lee, economics professor, and Deborah C. Lee, R.N. He has two younger sisters, Sarah and Esther. After moving to Shippensburg circa 1987, Dan attended elementary school at Nancy Grayson and Rowland. He lived in a couple places until moving to his parent's current address on Glenn Street. This same neighborhood is also home to best friend Matt Allen.

In high school, Matt Allen and Dan along with other church friends Rodney, Matt Hoch and Shawn would eventually start a Christian band Perfekt Gentlemen. Though their skill level was poor at best, they enjoyed the challenge and value of playing in a band. Over time, the band grew in size, talent, and zeal for ministering through music.

Dan spent the first two years of college at McGill University in Montreal, Canada... eh? He participated in the Montreal UBF and studied the Bible with Ernest Chan. Afterwards, he transferred to Shippensburg University to finish his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

In 2002, Dan was accepted into the PhD computer science program at Penn State. After a couple years in State College, he had trouble passing the PhD candidacy exams and decided to switch to a Master's degree program in computer science. Now, in the summer of 2005 Dan is finishing work on his Master's thesis with the intent to graduate in 2006.

While at PSU, Dan participated in the State College UBF and wants to continue to work in this ministry upon completing his degree. He is currently praying and looking for a job in the State College area for this reason.
